Managing Director, Egypt and North Africa
Seifallah Zoghbi is a skilled investment practitioner, with experience in diverse sectors across the MENA region.
Previously, he was part of the founding team and Managing Director at CI Capital Partners, and Managing Director and a Member of the Investment Committee at Duet CI Capital Advisors, where he participated in an initiative to invest a US$300 million private equity fund in consumer-driven sectors in Egypt. He was also responsible for deal sourcing, structuring and execution, as well as the development of the fund strategy, marketing and fund raising.
Prior to this he was a Principal at The Abraaj Group in the UAE and Egypt, working across a number of the firm’s investment initiatives including large cap buyout, SME, and real estate funds where he was responsible for the sourcing, structuring and execution, and portfolio managing of transactions including the US$2 billion acquisition of Egyptian Fertilizer Company and US$ 150 million acquisition of Al Borg Laboratories. Additionally, he was a senior member of the firm’s fund raising team.
He began his career as a Business Analyst in business advisory services at Ernst and Young in Dubai, before becoming a Consultant in the real estate and hospitality services group.
Seifallah received a BA in Business Economics from Oxford Brookes University, UK in 2001 and an MSc in International Management from the same institution in 2002.
